The 2019 Ducati Diavel 1260 has won a Red Dot Design Award known as 'Red Dot Award: Best of the Best' in the product design classification.
This success makes it Ducati's third in this class, with the other two being the 1199 Panigale in 2013 and the XDiavel S in 2016. The awards ceremony will occur on 8 July in Essen, Germany.
Since 1955 the Red Dot Design Award has been allowed out every year. This year, there were in excess of 5500 entries which were assessed by a jury made up of 40 universal experts. The Diavel 1260 was consistently declared the champ of the award.
The Ducati Diavel was uncovered at the Ducati World Premiere 2019. The 1262cc Testastretta engine gives out 159bhp of power at 9500rpm and torque yield of 129Nm at 7500rpm.
Andrea Ferraresi, Ducati Style Center Manager, stated, "It's never simple to win such critical and looked for after acknowledgment as the Red Dot Award. Prevailing for the third time because of another iconic bike like the Diavel 1260 is a tribute to the imagination and development of Ducati, which fills us with pride."
The Diavel 1260 and the Diavel 1260 S is required to dispatch in India in the not so distant future.
