The fourth-gen Suzuki Jimny has been shown at the continuous Bangkok International Motor Show in its stock just as in a mildly customized format.

Local media reports that the Suzuki Jimny Sierra, which is the export version of the fourth-gen off-roader is being assessed available to be purchased in the Thai car showcase.

Thai media reports that the Suzuki Jimny Sierra is being assessed for Thailand. Suzuki has sold the second-gen Jimny in the Thai car showcase with the Caribian nameplate.

The custom Suzuki Jimny that has been showcased at the BIMS 2019 features a handful of minor updates, which lend it a distinctive look. Up front, it ditches the multi-slat grille for a wireless unit that sports bold branding. It even gets a chunky faux skid plate. In the side profile, it gets window visors and chrome covers for the ORVM. The side skirts include silver cladding, while the roof features a luggage career. The rear-end remains absolutely unaltered, put something aside for the coming of a custom spare wheel spread. Adjusting off the exterior updates is a lot of greater mud flaps.

On the inside, the custom Suzuki Jimny absolutely imitates the stock model. The feature of the cabin is the halfway situated Bosch-sourced SmartPlay infotainment unit that supports Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Sat-nav. Standard security features incorporate dual SRS front airbags, ABS with EBD and brake assist system (BAS) and ISOFIX kid situate mounts. Additionally, the Jimny Sierra even comes furnished with electronic stability control (ESP), and an ALLGRIP PRO low maintenance 4WD system.

Powering the Jimny Sierra is the K15B 1.5-liter four-cylinder petrol engine that produces 102 PS at 6,000 rpm and 130 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm. This engine is combined with either a 5-speed manual transmission or a 4-speed automatic transmission.

The fourth generation Suzuki Jimny won't make it to the Indian car advertise as there are not many takers for an off-street centered mini SUV. It might be noticed that the fourth-gen Jimny was once supposed to be India-bound.

As uncovered a year ago, the fourth generation Suzuki Jimny won't make it to our shores. Maruti Suzuki feels that the low interest for little 3-entryway SUVs doesn't legitimize conveying the Jimny to India.
